This was super helpful, thank you! I’m currently working at a nonprofit and dealing with a lot of the same issues. Although it’s a much smaller organization than the one you described, I relate so much to all of the issues you mentioned. I’m trying to figure out some simple solutions in the interim because we don’t have the budget for a data analyst, but what we have now is so dysfunctional. Employees track a lot of things on paper still 😱 Thanks for sharing your insights!
Thanks so much Natalie! If there's any way I can help feel free to reach out. Paper is a nightmare to track. Manually copying information onto excel spreadsheets from paper is often filled with errors, forgetting the fact that people's handwriting is often atrocious and difficult to read in the first place. I feel for you.
Thanks so much for responding! Do you have a preferred way I can reach out to you?
I am still slogging through sorting out these problems at my work and trying to figure it out while simultaneously doing 100 other things because such is life working for a nonprofit with budget constraints haha. I would love to ask a couple more specific questions, but I also want to be respectful of your time and not flood this post with comments. Can I shoot you an email somewhere?
Hey! Thanks for the comment! Lol, not such a silly question. It was part of our needs assessment. Our clients tend to prefer therapists of the same gender and because the percentage of female therapists is disproportionately larger than our female clientele (even though there are already more female than male clients) our goal was to highlight the need for more male therapists.
